Time is an essence and Jessica truly embraces its value. The 12-year-old, who sat for her PSLE this year, spent about 10 hours a week on revision. Jessica also revised and exchanged notes with her peers.

Hoping to be a scientist when she grows up, Jessica takes the effort in learning more about the subject but had difficulty answering the open-ended questions. Fortunately, her teacher at School Plus, Mr Yen has helped her to understand and answer the questions correctly. In addition, Mr Yen’s dynamic teaching style through the use of learning aids in class has helped her learn more effectively.

Jessica scored both A* in her Science and Math for PSLE 2016. “I am thankful for the support that I get from my family, teachers and friends. They have given me the confidence and inspiration to do well in my exams,” says the Harry Potter fan.
Although Jessica was previously occupied in preparing for PSLE, she still found time to pursue her hobbies and interests. She would watch wildlife programmes or read non-fiction books during her free time. She is also passionate about Guzheng and ballet.
